Black Bananas - Rad Times Xpress IV

RTX is Black Bananas is back with the badddd Rad Times Xpress IV, sick with scummy hooks, nasty grooves, and more vocal effects than a Kanye record. Beneath all the kaleidoscopic layers of occult, post-psych excess is a pure classick rawk core (much like any Jennifer Herrema ensemble). Peeling back the fringe 'n fur from each track you'll spot sonic nods to The Eagles and Lynyrd Skynyrd or Peter Gabriel, P-Funk, and The Scorpions. J.H. harvests mysticism from the mundane, talkin' bout TV or her "Killer Weed" while making you hang onto every word as gospel. According to the band's site, "Black Bananas is set for the next all-inclusive rock and roll crusade, the one that includes even and especially all the shit you don't like, woven into all the shit you can't live without." Amen. Black is beautiful.
